There was an expectation, being a Best Western hotel, that protel would be the software of choice. The solution had to offer complete flexibility and be able to improve upon the existing property management software that the hotel was operating. Although the existing software worked well, there were a few issues, particularly double-booking and integration with external booking systems which were not as effective as they could have been, so improvements in this area were essential.
