The project has been a big challenge: All of the Best Western Hotels around the world are required to use the Central Reservation System by the end of 2015. protel has developed a two-way interface to Best Western International's CRS which is deeply integrated within the core software and very easy to use. The cloud based solution both for the Cloud PMS protel Air, as well as for the locally installed hotel management systems protel SPE and protel MPE, has stood up to extensive testing which successfully resulted in its certification. In addition to protel's existing clients, many additional international Best Western properties have realized the quality of the implementation and now use the interface together with a protel hotel management system.
The Best Western Park Hotel in Siegen, Germany, has been using the interface since the end of March and Assistant Manager Pamela Pierow has had some good experiences. "We are very satisfied with protel", she says. "The ease of work thanks to protel's interface to the Best Western CRS is amazing. The reservations practically come in by themselves! This allows us to concentrate our efforts on offering our conference and weekend guests the best service to ensure that they have a great stay." Reservation and rates are automatically synchronized with the protel hotel management software. A particular benefit: guests can be easily registered into the Best Western Rewards program during check-in. Information related to Best Western is integrated exactly where it is needed for daily operations.
